NFL Draft: Oregon State LT Joshua Gray Named Best Offensive Prospect in Pac-2

Must read

With only the Oregon State Beavers and the Washington State Cougars remaining in the Pac-12, the conference obviously has a smaller player pool to produce NFL Draft picks in 2025. Even so, the Beavs and Cougs should produce a few likely candidates this season.

Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus recently named who he believes to be the best offensive NFL prospect in every FBS conference. Sikkema indicated that Oregon State’s Joshua Gray, a multi-year starter at left tackle, takes that honor among the Pac-2 schools.

“He finished 2023 with a 69.2 PFF overall grade and will take over the spotlight in Corvallis after a stellar season from Taliese Fuaga on the right side of the line last season. Gray has been starting at left tackle since 2020 as a redshirt freshman.”

A product of Rancho Cucamonga, California, Gray was an All-Pac-12 second team selection in 2023, 2022 and 2020 and earned an All-Pac-12 honorable mention in 2021. The 6’4″ 305-pound lineman has appeared in 44 games for OSU over the previous four seasons.

The Beavers have had two offensive tackles selected in the NFL Draft since 2020: Blake Brandel (Minnesota Vikings, 2020) and Taliese Fuaga (New Orleans Saints, 2024).
