Fans had mixed reactions on social media when Taylor Swift celebrated Mecole Hardman’s extension with the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday.

On June 6, the reigning Super Bowl champions granted the wide receiver a one-year extension to remain in Kansas City.

After the team’s ring ceremony on Thursday night, Hardman was on an Instagram live feed by his girlfriend, Chariah Gordon. Swift then took to the comments to praise Hardman’s extension with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the team.

‘AND WE GET ANOTHER YEAR OF MECOLE,’ Swift’s account wrote with a crown emoji.

‘JOINING THE PARTY FROM LIVERPOOL LETS GOOOOOOO,’ a pinned comment read, followed by a flag of the United Kingdom.
