NFL WR Randall Cobb’s Wife Says Family Is ‘Lucky to Be Alive’ After House Fire

Must read

NFL wide receiver Randall Cobb and his family had to escape their house due to a fire on Tuesday night.

Cobb’s wife, Aiyda, wrote on Instagram they were “lucky to be alive” after a Tesla charger caught fire in their garage and “quickly spread,” but they were able to get out wearing “nothing but the clothes on our back and no shoes on our feet.”

The full extent of the damage to the house is unclear at this point. It’s also unclear where the family was living. The family had a home in Houston that was profiled in Architectural Digest in October 2021.

Randall and Aiyda were married in 2017. They have three children.

Cobb is currently a free agent after spending the 2023 season with the New York Jets. He appeared in 11 games, catching five passes for 39 yards.

The 33-year-old was a second-round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2011. He played 10 seasons over two stints with the Packers, along with one-year stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans.
