The jersey pays homage to that worn in 1967, the club’s inaugural season in the NSWRL, with the club’s foundation logo also featured on the sleeves of the jersey.
The game will be a chance to celebrate the club’s first ever home game, a 16-10 victory over Newtown on Saturday 8 April, 1967 and the players and moments that long live in the memory for Panthers fans across more than 670 games to date.
In equally exciting news the club can confirm that BlueBet Stadium will be renamed to Penrith Park for the Round 27 showdown.
“BlueBet appreciates the history synonymous with BlueBet Stadium since the team’s inception into the NSWRL in 1967,” BlueBet CEO Bill Richmond said.
“We’re proud to give fans another opportunity to create lifelong memories at Penrith Park one more time.”
