Two Perth parents have been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after they were discovered unconscious by their children.
Four bodies have been found in a house in Melbourne’s North.
Two men, a woman and a teenage boy were found dead in Bicknell Court, Broadmeadows.
A crime scene has been established, but police believe the cause of death is not suspicious.
The pair, aged in their 50s, reportedly used a charcoal heater in their bedroom to stay warm after temperatures dropped to 3.4 degrees in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the West Australian capital.
Their children went to check on them around midday, where they found them unconscious.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the Westminster home, 12km north of Perth, with six ambulances arriving as well as firefighters and police, WA Today reported.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services acting Swan district officer Luke Miles said the pair had likely suffered carbon monoxide poisoining as the heater was used without ventilation.
The presence of carbon monoxide was confirmed after atmospheric testing wsas conducted by fire crews.
“For a long period of time, they’ve been exposed to potential carbon monoxide poisoning,” he said.
“Fatigue, they’ve gone down to sleep, and then obviously for a significant period of time, there’s been no ventilation and no sort of checking on things.
“Unfortunately for the family they located the two adults and called triple-0 at that point.”
At least 16 children have been rushed to hospital after suffering suspected carbon monoxide poisoning at an ice skating rink in Adelaide.
Firefighters attended the Ice Arena on Sunday morning to test for harmful gasses.
They found high levels of the chemical in the air.
Authorities are currently investigating whether any more people have been affected.
The parents are currently fighting for their lives after being rushed to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in a critical condition.
It is understood the family recently moved into the home and had been up late unpacking before going to bed.
Carbon monoxide can occur when fossil fuels burn without enough oxygen. Symptoms people can experience after being exposed include headache, weakness, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea or vomiting.
