Perth WAG Tayla Broad has said goodbye to her local cafe, which became her “family” throughout her time as a new mum after the business closed on Sunday.
The 26-year-old — who shares a young baby with hubby and AFL player Nathan Broad — took to Instagram on Monday, explaining how important a local cafe can be to parents and their mental health.
“Anyone with a child knows how important your local cafe is to your mental health,” Broad wrote to her story over a photo with her daughter standing in front of a coffee machine.
“Some days, it’s the only adult conversation you have outside your partner at the end of the day.
“For Samara and me, our local cafe became our family. They watched Samara grow and learn new tricks, checked in on me every day, played with her, and loved her.
“It was our favourite part of the day. Unfortunately, Sunday was their last business day.
“Although absolutely devastated, I am also so grateful for what they gave Samara and me each day,” she added.
The well-known couple — who currently live in Melbourne — welcomed their young daughter Samara Margot into the world in August last year.
The pair also share an adorable French Bulldog called Charlie.
The Love Island Australia 2018 winner tied the knot with the three-time Richmond AFL Premiership player in October in the NSW hinterlands.
