Police appeal for witnesses after cyclist injured in hit and run in Melbourne

Police are appealing for help in finding a hit and run driver that left a woman hospitalised with serious injuries in west Melbourne.

Emergency services received a report a car crashed into a cyclist on Dynon Road near Lloyd Street about 7.25pm on May 30. 

The cyclist, a 33-year-old Maribyrnong woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police said the driver of the car, believed to be a white SUV, did not stop and continued travelling north on Lloyd Street.

Investigators are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage around the time of the incident which may assist with their enquiries.
