Popular sauces sold at Woolworths, Coles and independent retailers including IGA have been recalled after the presence of undeclared allergens was discovered.

The Korean BBQ Bulgogi Beef Marinade and Korean BBQ Spicy Pork Marinade, both by O’Food, were incorrectly labelled as gluten-free when this is not the case.

The 280g bottles of the marinades, with best before dates of April 16 and March 10 next year respectively, are included in the recall.

Customers with a gluten allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the products are consumed and should not do so.

The product was sold nationally at Woolworths, Coles, Asian grocers and independent retailers including IGA.

If you have purchased the product, you can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

“Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the recall by Food Standards said.
