The severe thunderstorm — which brought heavy rainfall, damaging winds and hail — hit WA on Saturday, leaving a path of destruction.

Bunbury was hit the hardest, with residents reporting major damage to their properties.

An evacuation centre has been opened at the South West Sports Centre to help those in need.
