Primo Foods recall popular salami product sold at Coles and Woolworths

Primo Foods is conducting a recall of salami sold at Coles, IGA, and Woolworths due to the presence of an undeclared allergen.

Primo Mild Salami with 25 percent less salt, in 80g packages, was recalled on Thursday due to the presence of milk.

‘Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,’ the NSW Government Food Authority recall said.

‘Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.’

The affected products can be identified by the best before date — 19/07/2024 — displayed on the package. 

‘Consumers should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund,’ the recall said.
