The Rail Network Alliance (RNA) brings together leading construction, design, rail and transport partners John Holland, CPB Contractors, AECOM, Alstom, Metro Trains Melbourne and Metro Tunnel Project to deliver integral works on Melbourne’s rail network that will support day one operations of the Metro Tunnel.
RNA is delivering major rail, signalling and system upgrades to support the twin 9km tunnels between Kensington and South Yarra and 5 underground stations.
The works involve upgrades to more than 165km of existing rail infrastructure including track, overhead wiring, station platforms, traction power, substations and stabling.
RNA is also undertaking the design, development, installation and commissioning of High Capacity Signalling, communications and Operational Control Systems.
