Dons name King’s Birthday Eve squad.
Essendon has made one confirmed change to its round 13 side to face Carlton at the MCG.
With dashing defender Mason Redman unavailable for selection in Sunday’s King’s Birthday Eve team due to a hamstring strain, four potential inclusions have been named.
Ruckman Todd Goldstein, defender Archie Roberts, midfielder Will Setterfield and midfielder Dylan Shiel are all in contention to return to the Bombers’ lineup.
Roberts (travelling emergency) and Goldstein (managed) did not feature in games last week, while Setterfield and Shiel were two standouts in Essendon’s VFL loss to Box Hill.
Essendon will announce its final team tomorrow at 5pm EST.
