The 42nd Redlands Community Hospital Foundation Golf Classic, a fundraiser for the hospital, will be held June 20 at the Redlands Country Club.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m., with shotgun start at 11 a.m.

With this year’s tournament, the foundation hopes to raise between $210,000 and $240,000 through sponsorships, auctions, raffles and participant fees. The event’s proceeds will benefit a new Radiation Oncology Center at the Redlands Community Hospital Center for Cancer Care, according to a news release.

The Radiation Oncology Center, to be built at the hospital’s Center for Cancer Care across the street from the main hospital, will house a linear accelerator machine and a new PET/CT scanner. The new space, which is expected to open in early 2026, will allow for expansion of radiation therapy as the demand for cancer treatment grows, according to the news release.

The golf tournament will be followed by an awards dinner and a live auction, with items up for bids including Los Angeles Angels tickets behind home plate, donated by Tim Rochford and the Rochford Foundation; a suite for 18 at an Angels game, courtesy of Hangar 24 Craft Brewery; and a Lake Arrowhead cabin getaway donated by Redlands Community Hospital Golf Committee member Tom Cutler.

Chairmen for this year’s tournament are Wendy and Guenter Posjena, longtime hospital volunteers and donors who have supported many hospital initiatives, including the building of the Redlands Community Hospital Center for Cancer Care.

Volunteers coordinating the tournament include members of the Redlands Community Hospital Auxiliary, hospital staff, community members and Redlands Country Club members.

Sponsors include Madison Grove Post-Acute, SEI, Lockton Insurance Brokers and the Redlands Community Hospital medical staff. Redlands’ Hatfield Buick returns as the hole-in-one sponsor, offering a chance to win a Buick on the par-3 third hole, according to the news release.

The tournament’s Ken Corwin Cup honors the legacy of the late Kenton W. Corwin, longtime president of the Redlands Community Hospital Foundation who was instrumental in founding the tournament.

Registration for the tournament is $1,500, and sponsorship opportunities are available from $250 to $12,000. To register or for information, contact the Redlands Community Hospital Foundation at 909-335-5540.
