The bromance of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is going to be everywhere over the next few weeks as “Deadpool & Wolverine” promotion heats up.

Now it seems the pair intend to keep their mutual friendship and working relationship going on screen and outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Speaking with EW while promoting the film, Reynolds revealed that he and Jackman are potentially set to team again shortly on something that’s a departure from the superhero genre.

He also used the opportunity to spread some more love to his co-star as well:

“We have one we’re looking to do soon. I would say that [ours] is like any relationship that is successful and works: It’s that two parties are rooting for each other. I’m always rooting for Hugh to score and win. I also know the infinite nuance of his heart and his mind and who he is. I can say firsthand that he’s a person who’s not just worth rooting for, he’s somebody who’s impossible to not root for.”

Reynolds, Jackman and director Shawn Levy arrived in Shanghai this week to promote “Deadpool & Wolverine” which is getting a day-and-date release there with the U.S. on July 26th.
