‘Ridiculous’: TikToker claims Nine host Ally Langdon was given special treatment on Fiji flight

A TikToker has slammed Qantas for allegedly giving a well-known Channel Nine host “special treatment” on a recent flight to Fiji but the airline has hit back at the aspiring influencer.

Qantas will begin contacting customers who are eligible for a share of $20 million in compensation.

More than 86,000 people will be notified by email after they were sold tickets for ‘ghost flights’ that had already been cancelled.

Impacted customers will receive $225 for domestic flights and $450 for international flights.

Influencer Courtney took to TikTok earlier this week and complained that a Channel Nine star, since revealed to be Langdon, was given special treatment on a Qantas flight from Sydney to Fiji over the weekend.

The TikToker claimed Langdon and her family were travelling in the economy section of the Nadi bound plane but appeared to be given extras by the airline, including access to the first class toilets and wine.

“We flew Qantas. They were turning people down when they were asking for wine and that’s fine. I didn’t ask but I overheard a lot of people being rejected,” she claimed.

“But then they were offering (Ally) wine and handing it out in front of everyone else.

“So the people who were being declined alcohol had to sit and watch this famous lady be served alcohol when they bought the same ticket for the same price.

“I just don’t understand what’s going on with service these days.”

However, in a shocking turn of events Courtney’s account of what happened on the flight has quickly been debunked by both a tabloid newspaper and the airline.

In paparazzi photos obtained by tabloid Daily Mail Australia, Langdon, 45, was pictured with her husband Michael Willesee Jr. and their children at the Qantas business class check-in.

They were also escorted to the gate by Qantas ground staff, a service usually only provided to business or first class passengers, suggesting Langdon and her brood had paid extra or utilised frequent flyer rewards.

In a stunning spray, a Qantas spokesperson told SkyNews.com.au the TikToker’s claims were “ridiculous” and insisted Langdon was given the same treatment as “similar frequent flyers”.

“It’s ridiculous to suggest Allison was given any special treatment,” the spokesperson said.

“Any extras she was offered would be the same as we provide other similar frequent flyers whey they travel with us.”

The spokesperson also made a point of insisting that Langdon is highly regarded by Qantas cabin crew and “never makes a fuss”.

“Our crew often say how nice Allison is to deal with and never wants a fuss,” the spokesperson said.
