Progressive 3yo from the John O’Shea stable fresh off a dominant Hawkesbury Guineas win a month back. He led on that occasion on what was a deteriorating surface giving nothing else a chance in the run to the line. His prior form was very good in strong company & he’s been kept up to the mark winning a recent trial on heavy ground without leaving first gear.

Although favourite this morning he still looks overs to me. Finds a very suitable race & gets Blake Shinn to steer, will get back however if we’re still racing on nothing worse than soft he’ll be motoring home.

Good at Doomben a fortnight back making ground on the stablemate (Tenzing) who she meets better at the weights today. Races well here & can park closer.
RACE 5 # 16 EL MORZILLO
Super consistent filly from the Kelly Schweida yard who just keeps on running good races & generally without any luck. She zoomed home at Doomben a fortnight back over 1200m & finally today takes the step to 1400m which I’d suggest she’s been chasing for some time. Perfectly drawn with Craig Williams to steer she’ll park closer & from there will get her chance.
