Consistent is looking for ground now & gets it today stepping out over slightly longer than 2000m. Not crazy about the big weight however the inside gate should afford him a soft run & if we can secure $3 or better I’d suggest he’s worth a bet.
RACE 5 # 7 INVINCIBLE SHIELD
Bolted in first start for Tony Gollan going straight to the front running time. Doesn’t necessarily lead today as there’s good speed engaged however parked behind with a trail he can still get the job done.
RACE 6 # 1 JUNGLE PRINCE
He’s been costly to punters in his short career however he looks very well suited this afternoon taking on inferior opposition. The step up to the mile is ideal, no excuses today.
RACE 8 # 13 PUNCH LANE
Not the best to jump at his first local outing & the tempo up front basically gave him no chance. He did run on quite ok though & with a more truly run race & step up in distance he looks well placed this afternoon.
