Shawn Stussy Is Bringing Back His S/DOUBLE Brand

Earlier in the week, Shawn Stussy alerted the fashion world of his return with a short message: “[it’s] time to engage for a long ride into the future.”

It didn’t take long for the streetwear aficionado to share further details on his comeback plans. On a sign outside of the skate brand Globel’s HQ in Australia, Stussy announced that he would be bringing back his S/DOUBLE label in partnership with Globe’s founders, Matt, Peter and Stephen Hill.

“Hello Australia and New Zealand,” the sign, shot by Sneaker Freaker, states in Stussy’s signature typeface. “Shawn Stussy checking in to let you know that I have a new project coming with the Hill bros and the Globe crew … we are making goods again together under my S-DOUBLE mark … we all started working together over 30 years ago … after I retired the tides have changed and shifted and we now find ourselves perched to have another go at it!! Hope you approve and are ready to keep some rackspace open for our work … I am engaged and ready to move the needle once again … big aloha.”

Ralph Lauren Will Kick Off NYFW With Hamptons Runway Show

Ralph Lauren is set to kick off New York Fashion Week with a runway show in the Hamptons on September 5.

“The Hamptons is more than a place. It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences, rusticity and elegance with a quality of light that drew artists here decades ago. It has been home, my refuge and always an inspiration,” Lauren said in a statement via WWD.

Ralph Lauren has long had a presence in the Hamptons. The brand opened its first shop out east in 1992, when the town was more residential than a vacation destination. In 2007, the label cut the ribbon on its children’s store East Hampton’s oldest building, and in 2008, the designer established a partnership with the East Hampton Historical Society to help preserve the Mulford Farm grounds. Today, Lauren runs three shops in the Hamptons, and he also has three connected houses in Montauk.

Balenciaga’s Le City Bag Campaign United Fashion and Fame

In the wake of its 53rd couture collectionBalenciaga has returned with a starry campaign for its flagship Le City bag. Shot by Mario Sorrenti, the sartorial delivery captures the signature accessory of brand ambassador Nicole Kidman and friends of the House, including Kate Moss, Amelia Gray, and Kit Butler.

The storied bag was first launched in 2001, and it has since undergone a slew of renovations to reach its icon status.  Made in Italy, the latest version is made with Arena leather and fitted with Palladium Vibrato hardware, including small metal buckles and rounded stubs that appear across the bag’s facade.

Zooming in further, leather zipper pulls are strung like lace, and handles feature braided finishes. Over time, the bag ages with a unique patina, produced as a byproduct of natural oxidation.

Jacquemus Previewed Its Upcoming Nike Collaboration

Jacquemus and Nike’s buzzy collaboration is almost ready for the public’s appetite. Fueling fan hunger, Jacquemus shared a preview of the line on its webstore on Thursday, revealing a bevy of new colorways and styles that will roll out upon the official launch.

Among the standouts is the Swoosh Bag, which appears in various colors, including red, black, and white. There’s also a new Nike Air Max 1 ‘86 colorway that adopts silver and white tones.

Apparel, meanwhile, includes matching jogging suits, logo-laden T-shirts, sports bras, T-shirt dresses and skirts. The color story is largely red, navy and white — in line with the collaboration’s French and USA national team tones ahead of the Olympics.

Louis Vuitton Revealed Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 Campaign

Louis Vuitton shared a picturesque campaign for Pharrell’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection on Thursday. Shot by Colin Dodgson, the sartorial delivery sees the luxury fashion label’s menswear creations in the wild, among mountain range, blue skies and horses.

One still captures the collection’s opening look: a massive white jacket with Western-inspired fringe and floral decals worn over a button-up shirt and blue jeans. Elsewhere, models sport P’s cowboy hats, and others hold the designer’s new Keepalls. Overall, the images speak to the line’s Americana theme, planting the country-fied designs in the heart of their real-life mood board.

Hedi Slimane Is Expanding CELINE’s Bath and Body Line

Hedi Slimane is building out CELINE’s bath and body line.

The designer’s parfumerie collection, which launched last year with solid soaps, cologne celeste body oil and bath milk, will expand with four new products: liquid soap, body milk, hand cream and hair mist.

According to the brand, Slimane developed and custom-made each formula. “They have undergone advanced work on the carefully chosen raw materials so that the products perfectly combine sensoriality, performance and a high level of naturalness,” the label stated.
