Halsey has given a health update a day after revealing a secret health battle.
The singer, who uses she/they pronouns, has shared she was diagnosed two years ago with lupus and a rare disorder.
“Thank you guys for the unbelievable amount of love for “The End” [her new music] and the support you’ve shown me since its release,” they began an Instagram post.

Halsey released her first single titled The End from her upcoming fifth album a day earlier, in the announcement, she gave an insight into her health struggles.
“I realise everyone is catching up with news I’ve held in for a very long time, and I wasn’t sure how much I wanted to share,” the Colors singer wrote.
“You’ve all been so kind so I want to share a bit more,” she said.

Halsey then revealed she was diagnosed with both Lupus SLE and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder in 2022 which are “being managed or in remission”.
The singer revealed they will likely have both disorders “for the duration of my life”.
“After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors,” the Without Me singer continued.
“After 2 years, I’m feeling better and I’m more grateful than ever to have music to turn to,” she said after releasing the first single on her upcoming fifth album yesterday.
“I can’t wait to get back where I belong: With you all 🤍 Singing and screaming my heart out,” Halsey signed off the message.
The post was flooded with messages of support from the singer’s fans.
“Thank you for being so vulnerable and honest, both here and in your music,” one person commented on the post.

Another person thanked the singer for “sharing and giving others hope”.
“So glad to hear you’re getting better! It’s incredible and inspiring that you’ve fought through it and are continuing to share your music with us!” a third wrote.
The update comes a day after Halsey shared candid videos and photos of their undisclosed health struggle.
The singer admitted in the initial post she was “lucky to be alive” and had tagged the Lupus Research Alliance and Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
The pop star was previously diagnosed with endometriosis which she has undergone surgery for and spoken candidly about over the years.
