Sky Vacations is celebrating Pride Month with a new queer travel brand called Out World Journeys.
Sky says that New York-based brand will be dedicated to providing the queer community with “exciting and inclusive” travel experiences, from group tours to private journeys, and FITs.
According to its website, Out World Journeys initially will offer trips to Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, including itineraries in Cuba, Peru, Japan, the U.K., and more.
Out World will be lead by Richard Krieger, a veteran of the travel industry who served as president of IWorld of Travel, a luxury FIT and group travel operator, before joining Sky Vacations in 2019. The brand is an active member of both USTOA and the International Gay & Lesbian Travel Association (IGLTA).
“June is Pride Month, so there’s no better time to launch Out World Journeys and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. My team and I are very excited to provide a wonderful portfolio of suggested itineraries that travelers can use as the foundation to craft their own journey,” Krieger said.
“If you’re interested in history, art, architecture, food and wine, we have great programs for you. If you’re looking for the perfect family getaway, we’ve got that as well. And if you don’t see what you’re looking for – we’ll do our best to curate the journey of your dreams. Our goal is to celebrate every traveler and to connect with each other and the destinations they visit in a meaningful way.”
