French casino chain Groupe Partouche has announced first half revenues up 2.3 per cent at €220.6m and a 2.1 per cent increase in net gaming revenue to €179.7m, compared with €176m year-on-year.
Eighty-nine per cent of the GGR was in France, up 1.7 per cent. It was driven by a 2.5 per cent rise in slot machine revenues. Outside of France, the GGR rose 11.5 per cent, reaching €18.9m thanks to a big uplift in Swiss online gambling earnings of 48.9 per cent and its Middelkerke Casino in Belgium had a GGR uplift of 31.7 per cent.
The group has sold 40 per cent of Cannes Centre Croisette that operated a casino, to Palm Beach Exploitations; it has opened Copal Beach in Cannes in partnership with Financiere Must, opened the New Pasino Grand-La Tour Salvagny and partially reopoened the Annemasse Casino.
