Three Group 1-winning mares head up the field for the 2024 $3 million Stradbroke Handicap (1400m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday.
Racing Queensland announce the field for Queensland’s premier race on Tuesday.
They declared a field of 18 runners with five emergencies. The barrier draw will be conducted on Tuesday evening.
The weights were raised half-a-kilo to ensure a 56kg topweight with Doomben 10,000 winner Bella Nipotina to carry the number one saddlecloth.
The other Group 1 winners in the race are All-Aged Stakes winner Magic Time, and The Goodwood winner Benedetta.
Prior to the field being declared, local galloper Antino was the $7 favourite and he will line up along with lead-up race winners – Vilana, Here To Shock, Dream Hour and Roll On High.
