Hollywood’s most famous new 18-year-old Suri Cruise has drawn comparisons to her mother Katie Holmes at a similar age after attending her high school prom in New York.
Appearing at the event with boyfriend Toby Cohen, the estranged daughter of action hero Tom Cruise radiated joy alongside her date, dressed in a booby corset dress with a high-low hem.
Strutting confidently in golden heels, the dancer rocked burgundy nail polish on hand and foot as she carried her clutch in the city’s Manhattan borough.
A budding musician, according to Daily Mail, Suri’s young beau donned a blue suit and shiny brown shoes with a pink rose boutonniere that added a sense of occasion to his ensemble.
The pair — who studied together at LaGuardia High School — are reportedly set to attend different colleges, with Suri accepted into Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh and Mr Cohen enrolled at Berklee in Boston.
While the daughter of the divorced Hollywood duo appears content away from the spotlight, her beaming smile and youthful charm bears a striking resemblance to that of her mother as a young adult.
Bursting onto the scene in the late 90s as Joey Potter on hit show Dawson’s Creek, Holmes’ career took off parallel to industry stars Michelle Williams, Chad Michael Murray and Joshua Jackson.
Holmes split from Cruise in 2012 after six years of marriage, with the pair’s daughter born seven months before her parents tied the knot.
