Space Swap’s Sustainable Bikini Fashion Show, held recently at Long Doggers in Satellite Beach, not only captivated attendees but also served as a pivotal event in promoting eco-conscious fashion within the Space Coast community. Organized by Alexandra Komara, president of Space Swap, in collaboration with local brands like Villon and Long Doggers, the show aimed to educate and inspire through a fusion of fashion, sustainability, and community engagement.
The Sustainable Bikini Fashion Show was part of the Locals 9.5 Surf Film Festival. The initiative featured a diverse lineup including local designers, a sustainability panel, and 50 models who embody sustainable lifestyles. The panel, comprising influential figures such as environmental specialists and local leaders, underscored the importance of eco-conscious practices in fashion and daily life.
Space Swap’s evolution from a simple clothing swap initiative to a series of impactful festivals highlights its commitment to community building and sustainability.
