‘Trains are not running on the T5 Cumberland Line due to urgent signal repairs at Harris Park,’ Sydney Trains said in an update on X.

‘You will need to catch a train to either Granville or Lidcombe and change there to complete your journey. Please allow plenty of extra travel time.’

Several services are running at a reduced frequency on Monday morning.

‘I caught the very early train today because I had to get to work early. I should be in Kingswood by now but I’m still stuck in Homebush,’ one commuter wrote on X.

‘It’s problematic that on a Monday the only advice is to allow extra time when so many people have to start their working week.’

Sydney Trains said replacement buses had not been requested at this stage.
