Melbourne Storm has named its squad to face the Canberra Raiders in Round 17 at AAMI Park on Saturday evening.
Storm Captain Harry Grant and winger Xavier Coates have both been named to back up from Origin duty, with the pair set to feature for the QLD Maroons tomorrow night at the MCG.
NRL leading point scorer Nick Meaney will unfortunately miss the match due to a calf injury picked up in last week’s narrow victory over the Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium last Friday.
Grant Anderson has been named to start in the centres alongside young product Jack Howarth, who impressed in the centres last week with 165 run metres, one linebreak and eight tackle-breaks.
Trent Loiero is named to start at lock, with Bronson Garlick and Nelson Asofa-Solomona set to provide their impact from the bench.
Able to name a 23-man squad due to midweek Origin action, Alec MacDonald has also been listed in the reserves as he looks to return from an ankle injury.
