Campbell Brown believes Magic Time is a good each-way bet in the Stradbroke.
The ever consistent and multiple Group 1 winning mare heads to Eagle Farm for one of Queensland’s premier races in good form having won the All-Aged Stakes two starts back.
Given she’s one a few Group 1 winners in the field, Brown believes the $11 price that is currently on offer with Sportsbet is value.
“I’m not going to say she’s forgotten because she’s on the third line of betting at $11 but Magic Time for trainer Grahame Begg is over the odds,” Brown told SENTrack.
“This horse has had 12 starts and has won six of them, the mare flies and she loves the trip.
“Drawn barrier nine which is much better than some of the main rivals and I just really, really like this horse.
“She’s super consistent and always gives her all and I think that’s a ridiculous price.
“I’m not saying she should be favourite but $11 is really nice value.”
Michael Dee will ride Magic Time on the weekend and the pair have a good rapport with Dee winning on her twice.
Last start winner Vilana is the current $5 favourite in front of local hope Antino at $8.
