On Wednesday, Larry and Kylie announced the special guest host.
“Human Nature’s Phil Burton is stepping up for his biggest challenge yet — stepping into Larry’s shoes,” Kylie told viewers.
“Phil joins us on The Morning Show as our special celebrity co-host tomorrow after Sunrise.”
Larry was playful about the move.
“I’m sorry, may I just ask a very quick question? Did a fill-in host just get a promo (on the show)?” Larry asked.
“He sure did. Not only a promo — an all-singing, all-dancing promo, just the way we love them,” Kylie replied.
“He is coming in here with you tomorrow, I’m off tomorrow.
“Expect a lot of dancing talk, folks.”
Burton is on the road with the Sweet Soul Music tour, with the final show in Tweed Heads scheduled for Saturday, June 8.
He will next star in the touring dance show Burn The Floor: Dare to Dream, with his incredible vocals headlining the event.
This year, Burn The Floor will mark its 25th anniversary, with the legendary production featuring great Aussie rock classics, including hits from INXS, John Farnham, Cold Chisel, Sia, and AC/DC.
The dancers will be clad in stunning costumes, and performing in rock’n’roll lighting.
“I’m ecstatic to be a part of such a legendary show,” said Burton of the production.
“Dancing With The Stars allowed me to see the incredible athleticism of professional dancers up close, so to get the chance to do it all again is a dream come true.
“This time around it’s more about my singing, but who knows? There might just be a chance for me to show off my winning moves again as well!”
The new Burn the Floor shows begin on August 14, details here.
