The Top 10 Games In Australia And New Zealand

Must read

What games have Aussie and New Zealand players been picking up most in recent weeks? That’s the question we’re answering every Monday Friday with thanks to the weekly Top 10 ANZ Games Charts from the folks over at the Interactive Games & Entertainment Association (IGEA).

The latest report comes from the week ending June 16th, 2024, with IGEA seemingly hastening the rate at which it gets these updates out given I’m usually updating this on a Monday.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has had its brief stint back in the charts knocked off by the likes of Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece and Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, proving that Aussies can get around an incomprehensible, queer-coded Japanese RPG as much as they can a hyper-masculine first person shooter.

Elsewhere, it’s a lot of the same as usual. A bit of GTA V, a bit of EA Sports FC24 and NBA 2K24, some Red Dead Redemption 2 and so on. The Kiwis are loving something called Pro Cycling Manager 2024 at the moment, too, which I’m assuming is a game about watching a bunch of obnoxious people ride their bikes around. I suppose they don’t have Melbourne in New Zealand, so I can understand wanting the video game version.

Take a look at the full, updated Top 10 list from both countries below:
