When it came to street style accessories outside the Paris Fashion Week men’s spring 2025 shows, the influences ran wide and deep. For example, handbags, traditionally a women’s accessory, appeared in men’s street style long before they did all over the runway. Gen Z is to thank for that.
The same thing occurred with statement earrings and rings. This spring menswear season in Paris, your grandmother’s silk scarves and old school bandanas were out in full force and layered, bold necklaces were the jewelry of choice.

Heritage Hats
Heritage hats, especially the fedora, made a splash on the scene in the early days of street style. But this time the baseball hat became the biggest accessory trend. In the early 2000s this American staple gave the cool finishing touch, from trucker and New York Yankee hats to nylon branded styles and black leather subculture classics.
Scarves and Bandanas
Silk scarves and bandanas were probably the most directional and new message of the season. Showgoers wore the accessory around the neck, but the Queen Elizabeth II-headscarf-while-in-the-country styling took the lead. The bandana was also used as a headscarf, but it was really omnipresent paired with a baseball hat.
Heirloom Jewelry
Following the pearl necklace frenzy, the layered necklace trend dominated the streets of Paris. Bold diamond designs, at times paired with a matching grill, together with family heirloom-inspired vintage constructions were the focal point of many ensembles.
Handbags of All Varieties
In Milan, designer bags were hot, but in Paris, things were a little different and the bags went two ways. First, crossbody utility bags took some of the precious vibe out of the trend, while becoming part of the big workwear wave. And second, there were individual statement bags, from bright colored ones to mini versions adorned with spikes or floral motifs.
Sunglasses are the number-one accessory of the moment. The futuristic shield and angular raver styles still reigned, becoming the leading style. Mirror lenses were also in the mix, enhancing the futuristic feel. Check out the gallery to see all the looks.
