Full Time Sales Advisor – Cycle World

Cycle World is Portsmouth’s largest independent bike shop and one of the South Coasts premier cycle retailers selling top brands of bikes and accessories. We pride ourselves on the customer service we provide and have a wealth of experience and knowledge of the trade to deliver an unbeatable customer focused retail experience.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is part of a close knit team dedicated to excellent customer service. You should be competent and approachable and able to provide friendly advice about all things cycling to a broad range of customers, together with processing online sales for despatch.

The job will mainly involve direct customer contact in helping with the sales of new bikes and accessories, together with general retail duties. Working as part of a busy team we are also keen to train and develop our employee’s skillset and would actively encourage training up to Cytech Level 2 together with further specialist training on e-bikes. An apprenticeship would be offered to the right applicant seeking to build their career within the cycle trade.

Store Manager – Zoomo London Ltd

Cycle Technician/Mechanic – Ken Foster’s Cycles

Cycle Technician 39hrs a week over 5 days to include Saturday and Sundays on a rota basis. Cytech 2/3 equivalent qualification desirable or previous extensive workshop experience would be taken into account.

Roles and requirements include: five days per week on a rota which includes Saturdays and some Sundays, service and repair of cycles, new bike assembly, experience working with hydraulics and suspension, general workshop duties, delivering customer service computer literate, and passionate about all things cycling.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, 28 days holiday pro rota (includes Bank Holidays), a staff pension scheme, modern workshop, staff discount, and access to a Cycle to work Scheme.

Store Assistant – Velo Edge

Cheshire’s premier cycling boutique, based in Alderley Edge, now approaching it’s first birthday after a fantastic first year of trading. Offering some of the best bikes in the pro-peloton, world-class professional bike-fitting trusted by the pros,the highest standard workshop in the area, high-performance apparel and of course, great coffee; we’re set in the perfect location between the Cheshire plains and the Peak District.

We’re hiring now for a Store Assistant, working 3-4 days per week (including one weekend day). You’ll know your way around a bike, be comfortable advising customers on high-quality cycling clothing and ideally, be able to make a cracking espresso – but don’t worry – full training will be provided.

Naturally, this role best suits a candidate who loves all things cycling. You’ll be a flexible can-do person, able to work well in a busy environment & also keep the store looking great. The one thing more valuable than a killer sales instinct is a friendly, approachable nature, ready to welcome customers and treat them like a VIP – whether they’re spending thousands on a high-end road bike or just dropping in for a flat white.
