Mechanic – Atherton Bikes

Your principal role will be assembling bikes and helping to ensure smooth running of the workshop, working across our existing and new ranges as required whilst upholding our excellent workshop standards. This role can expand to match your ambition.

Workshop Manager – Cycle Central Ltd

We are a small but growing high-end workshop, focused on providing premium service to select clients in South West London. We plan on being multi-site, attracting demanding recreational cyclists, sports riders, commuters and families who only want the best. Currently working from a workshop we will open our first retail premises shortly. We need someone who can guide and contribute every step of the way.

It will be hands on! Putting the workshop together, deciding what to stock and sell, helping to define our unique selling points, engaging with clients through social media, face to face and forming long-lasting bonds with our suppliers. We will be as ‘green’ as possible and will put CSR at the heart of what we do. We intend to bring new apprentices from the community into the bike trade. You will need to help with all of this while servicing bikes to the highest standards, building and leading a team. We will lean on technology to make our operation as slick & professional as possible.

You will have worked to the highest standards on premium brands. You must demonstrate that you can be innovative, adaptable, be precise and create an aura of ‘can-do’ unflappability.  You will have been a mechanic, engaging with clients for at least 3 years and have graduated to leading a department or workshop. Director, Aftermarket Sales Europe – Fox Factory

The Director, Aftermarket Sales Europe is responsible for the profitability and strategic growth of the aftermarket segment across all of Europe. This role involves formulating and executing high-level sales strategies, overseeing diverse sales channels, spearheading market expansion initiatives, fostering robust customer relationships, and leading a dynamic sales team. The incumbent will be provide strategic insights to the executive team, forecast market trends, set ambitious sales targets, and drive overall sales performance.

Responsibilities include: overseeing the financial performance of the Europe aftermarket division, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth through strategic planning and effective cost management, developing and implementing overarching sales strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance marketing penetration, and achieve business objectives across all of Europe, and leading and optimising multiple sales channels, including direct sales, key accounts, and both inside and outside sales teams, ensuring seamless integration and maximised performance.

You will have: proven strategic thinking and advanced market analysis capabilities, demonstrated excellence in customer relationship management at a senior level, strong team leadership and talent development experience, high ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, exceptional communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills, results-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals, and excellent project management skills.

Deputy Branch Manager – Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op (Leeds)

Founded in 1977, Edinburgh Bicycle Co-op is an established independent bike retailer. We operate 6 retail outlets across Scotland and the North of England as well as an ecommerce operation supported by a large warehouse/distribution centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager in our Leeds store and we are inviting candidates to apply. Based at our store in Chapel Allerton, you will work closely with the Branch Manager in all aspects of running the branch.

Key responsibilities will be to: support the Branch Manager in all tasks, ensure high levels of customer service alongside the business’s active selling programme, manage individual and groups of staff, ensure continued staff presence on the sales floors, assist with display & merchandising, deal with customer service issues and complaints when they arise, operate specific and regular administrative systems, assist with staff training & development, and assist in carrying out necessary management procedures.
