Ram-raiders are on the run after a bungled smash and grab at the Craigmore Shopping Centre in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
Crime scene tape greeted Sunday morning shoppers and the centre’s sliding doors were left shattered after being ploughed into early this morning.
The culprits’ intended target was the ATM that was left smashed on the floor.

Emergency Crews raced to the scene about 4.30am and workers and shoppers have been left stunned.
“Obviously, they’re not thinking clearly because they stuffed it up and left everything behind,” one shopper said.
“This is beyond a joke, word can’t express, I’m disgusted in it,” another told 7News.
Businesses at the shopping centre are now calling for extra safety measures, including security guards and CCTV.
“I didn’t want to come to work today, I didn’t want to come, I just didn’t feel safe,” said Sophie Hani, who works at the local café.
The Toyota Hilux used in the failed robbery was found torched on Bevan Road at Virginia around 6am.
It had been stolen from Ingle Farm three days ago.
Those responsible remain on the run and anybody with information is urged to contact police.
