Once again Taylor Swift has her fans glued to social media eagerly awaiting her next move.
The singer recently debuted two new outfits over two nights in Milan, and while it’s not an unprecedented move from the pop star, fans are speculating that this time, it means something more.
There’s a theory circulating on social media that Swift is using her outfits as a countdown to the highly anticipated re-release of her 2017 album, Reputation.

At her first show in Milan, Swift delighted fans when she appeared at the beginning of her Fearless set in a brand new dress.
The dress was reminiscent of previous outfits for the set, covered in gold and fringe, but it had one huge difference.
Many fans online have pointed out that the dress seemed to blend two of Swift’s era’s together, combining 2008’s Fearless with 2017’s Reputation.
The mini dress was covered with gold and black sparkly stripes, sending fans into a frenzy online.

But the theories only really kicked off the next night, when Swift debuted another new dress. This time, during her Speak Now set.
While the purple ballgown didn’t have any clear ties to Swift’s Reputation aesthetic, some fans pointed out that it is slightly similar to a dress worn by the Cruel Summer singer in the music video for Getaway Car, a song off the Reputation album.
Swift’s first re-release was Fearless and second Speak Now, which has lead fans to speculate that she is counting down her re-releases in the form of new outfits.
If the theory is correct, that would mean she will debut a new outfit for her Red era during her first show in Gelsenkirchen on July 17, followed by a new outfit for her 1989 set the next night on July 18.

Fans are speculating that it could all be leading to a huge moment for her closing night in Gelsenkirchen.
Swift plays her final show in the city on July 19, and if the fan theory is correct, she could debut a brand new outfit for her Reputation era and announce Reputation (Taylor’s Version).
So, it seems like for the next week us Swifties will be glued to our phones watching grainy live streams of the Eras Tour in Gelsenkirchen, eagerly awaiting to see if we’ve cracked the code.
