Tom Brady’s kids told him not to “get any ideas” about returning to the NFL ahead of his New England Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Wednesday.
The former football pro’s three children — Jack, 16, Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11 — pinned a special video tribute to their dad to highlight his accomplishments in the NFL between 2000 and 2022.
The clip shared to Brady’s Instagram showed snaps from the retired quarterback’s 23 seasons in the NFL as his kids narrated in the background.
“Hey, Dad. We’re all so excited to be back in Boston this week, and I thought it would be fun to look back on all those amazing years as a Patriot,” Vivian began as a photo of herself with Brady, 46, following his 2019 Super Bowl win flashed on the screen.
“Six Superbowl titles, I only remember three of them, but those games are some of my favorite memories,” Benjamin chimed in.
“Same here, Benny!” Jack added. “But I know the rest of the family was there screaming at the top of their lungs during the first three.”
Benjamin continued, “And it wasn’t just rings. MVPs, records and even a few magazine covers along the way.”
“You were a superstar,” Vivian interrupted.
“So from Papa, Grandma, all your sisters, nieces, nephews and us, congratulations on your induction to the Patriot’s Hall of Fame,” Benjamin added.
“Just don’t get any ideas when you walk past a locker room tonight,” the teenager quipped.
The seven-time Super Bowl champ captioned the clip, “My kids surprised me this morning with this video, and I wanted to share it with my Patriot family too. What a ride. See you tonight New England ❤️.”
Brady shares Benjamin and Vivian with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, and Jack with ex-partner Bridget Moynahan, 53.
The father of three and Bündchen, 43, split in October 2022 shortly after Brady decided to backtrack on his retirement from the NFL.
In February 2022, the New England Patriots star announced he was leaving football after 22 seasons.
“This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention,” he said on social media at the time.
Nearly a month later, Brady decided to return to football, claiming he belonged “on the field” rather than “in the stands.”
The decision led to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star and the supermodel getting into an epic fight shortly before announcing their breakup, Page Six revealed at the time.
Brady returned to the field for one last season with the Buccaneers before announcing he was “retiring for good” in February 2023.
