A popular podcaster was spotted being carted out of a sports bar by a NFL player while she was out partying in Nashville.
2GB radio host Ray Hadley says he nearly fell off his chair after 2GB owner John Singleton announced he would go up against 2UE host John Laws in 2002.
Mr Hadley has marked 20 years as the number one in the morning slot with another win on Tuesday.
His 16.4 per cent share has placed him as the top rating morning show for the 158th consecutive survey dating back to 2004.
“Unbeknownst to me, Singo [John Singleton] had hatched a plan with the directors and announced after Alan [Jones] had gone through what he was intending to do that Ray Hadley would go up against John Laws,” Mr Hadley told Sky News host Steve Price.
“I nearly fell off my chair because I had gone there to call the football.”
Althoff was carried out of the Barstool Sports Bar by Murphy-Bunting after what appeared to be one too many drinks partying in the Music City, according to a video obtained by TMZ.
The footage caught Murphy-Bunting, who has spent four seasons in the NFL, with a motionless Althoff over his shoulder before dropping her into the back of a black SUV.
The popular podcaster and TikTok star later thanked the cornerback for helping her through what was a “scary” night in Nashville.
“Last night was scary but thankful for having good friends in my life like @seanmurphybunting for looking out for me,” Althoff wrote in the photo caption of the pair on her Instagram Story on Tuesday.
Earlier in the evening, Althoff posted a video on Instagram of her giggling with who appears to be comedian Ben Da Donnn before the unfortunate end to her night.

“I learned a new handshake @bendadonnn !!!!”, the caption read.
Before hitting the town, Althoff also posted a fit check with the group, which included Murphy-Bunting in a Cardinals shirt.
The incident comes roughly five months after Althoff’s husband, Cory Althoff, filed for divorce from the social media sensation in February.
The divorce followed rumors of a romantic fling between Althoff, who has two kids with Cory, and rapper Drake, which the podcaster later denied, after an awkward interview between the pair.
Althoff rose to fame in 2022 posting mom content on TikTok and then started her own podcast last year.
She has interviewed big-time celebrities such as Shaquille O’Neal, J Balvin and Mark Cuban since her viral interview with Drake.
Althoff now has more than 7.8 million TikTok followers, over 1.4 million YouTube subscribers and 3.5 million Instagram followers.
