Channel 4 are to air new series Travels With Agatha with Sir David Suchet, a 5×60′ series produced by Soho Studios and Two Rivers Media for BritBox America and SBS in Australia.
The series will see the Poirot star retrace Christie’s expedition she embarked on in the 1920s across countries including Canada, Hawaii, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. Filming will commence this Summer.
Sir David Suchet said: “Having spent a quarter of a century personifying Agatha Christie’s iconic character of Hercule Poirot I now feel so honoured to embark upon a journey around the world, as myself – in the footsteps of possibly the greatest crime writer of all times. I feel that she will be sitting on my shoulders at every moment urging me on to share her passion for knowledge, travel, archeology, and of course – mystery.”
