Two children are among three people who have been killed in a horrific car crash northwest of Toowoomba.
The crash between a ute and sedan happened at about 10.50am on Monday on Dalby-Jandowae Rd at Jimbour East.
An ambulance spokesperson at the time said five patients were being assessed at the scene, four with life-threatening injuries, with a helicopter on the way.

Queensland Police have since confirmed three of the four people have died, including a man and two children who were all occupants of the sedan.
A woman who was also an occupant of the sedan was airlifted by helicopter to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A fifth person and the sole occupant of the ute was taken to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition.
Queensland Police have closed the road and advised motorists to avoid the area.
The road is expected to remain closed for several hours while investigations are underway.
