SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana women’s basketball team welcomes an addition to its 2024-25 roster. Uzor Uchidiuno has signed her national letter of intent to play for the Vikings in 2024-25.

Vogel on Uchidiuno: “Uzor brings a lot of qualities that we have been looking for. She brings a lot of experience playing at the DII level in addition to a crazy amount of athleticism. Uzor is a great student who will be able to help us win basketball games. “
Previous School: Uchidiuno enters the fold as a graduate student after playing 90 games and making 17 starts over five seasons at Felician University, averaging 5.2 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in 18.7 minutes per game. Last season she averaged 5.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and a team-high 1.2 blocks per game.
Prior to College: Uchidiuno was an ASW All-Star for coach Christopher Francis at the J. Addison School in Markham, Ontario. She also played for Francis on the Advantage Titans Basketball Club, based in Ajax, Ontario.
Personal: Uzor is the daughter of Henry and Laura Uchidiuno. She plans to pursue an MBA while at Augustana.
