UH Mānoa men’s basketball receives academic accolades | University of Hawaiʻi System News

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s basketball team was honored with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award as 15 student-athletes earned a combined 3.1 grade point average during the 2023–24 academic calendar. Each year NABC recognizes teams that earn a grade-point average of 3.0 and higher.

A pair of Rainbow Warriors also earned individual NABC accolades—graduate students Matthue Cotton and Justin McKoy were recipients of the NABC Honors Court award. Cotton maintained a 3.50 GPA while seeking a masters in finance while McKoy achieved a 3.74 GPA in obtaining a graduate certificate in online learning and teaching.
