‘Unable to confirm or deny’: Kensington Palace reacts to cruel Kate rumours

Must read

Kensington Palace has issued a rare comment regarding Princess Catherine’s health following bizarre online speculation the Princess of Wales has secretly left the United Kingdom.

Nationals Senate Leader Bridget McKenzie says the Coalition is “steadfast in our commitment” to net zero by 2050.

The Coalition will not have a 2030 emissions target before the next federal election.

Opposition leader Peter Dutton says he will not pull out of the Paris Agreement.

“Anything she [Kate Chaney] and other Teals can do to try and deride and put scare campaigns around our position on net zero is in her own personal political interests,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News Australia.

“The fact is that the Coalition is steadfast in our commitment to net zero by 2050.”

The Princess of Wales is currently on hiatus from public duty while receiving cancer treatment and has not been sighted publicly in several months.

Kate, 42, confirmed her cancer diagnosis in an emotional video message in March and revealed she had started “preventative chemotherapy”, which prompted a global outpouring of support for the future Queen.

The revelation also ended global speculation about her health and whereabouts after she disappeared from public life following major abdominal surgery in January.

However, online chatter about Kate’s whereabouts has ramped up again in recent days after a new conspiracy theory emerged that the Princess of Wales has secretly left the United Kingdom.

Remarkably, the speculation can be traced to just one TikTok video that took an anonymous comment from Reddit claiming Kate is secretly staying in Texas for cancer treatment.

The now-viral TikTok suggested the Princess of Wales is actually in Houston and staying at the St. Regis hotel while in town for treatment at the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center.

According to a new story published in the Houston Chronicle on Wednesday, a Kensington Palace representative confirmed to the outlet these rumours are false.

Meanwhile, the MD Anderson Cancer Center is declining to comment on the speculation due to patient privacy laws.

“Due to patient privacy laws, we are unable to confirm or deny if an individual is a patient at MD Anderson,” a spokesperson for the cancer center told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday.

In reality, the Princess is understood to be residing between the Wales’ family home, Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate and their country home Anmer Home in rural Norfolk.

Kensington Palace earlier confirmed Kate was still being briefed on her major royal causes on an intermittent basis amid her treatment but has declined to reveal when the royal will likely resume her public life.

Kate has not attended a public event since Christmas Day service at Sandringham with her husband Prince William, and the rest of the royal family, and will be absent from the upcoming Trooping the Colour parade for the King’s birthday on June 16.
