Bianca Censori’s friend has revealed that the architectural designer acted like she was “off the clock” from husband Kanye West while on a recent trip to her hometown of Melbourne.
The old friend told Page Six that she thinks West is treating her as “some dramatic installation of art.”
While away from the guise of West, the friend added the 29-year-old seemed to be “back to normal” as she wore a sweater dress while dining with her parents at a Melbourne cafe.
“When you look at all the press [about Censori and West], you would believe she has lost her mind, so it was good to see her with her family and being the person we remembered. The clothes were back to normal … there was nothing to suggest her time with Kanye has had a lasting effect,” the friend said.
Her friend squashed rumours that Censori’s parents were concerned about her relationship with West after she made headlines on various occasions for her scandalous outfits.
“They haven’t been cut off, and it was clear they still have plenty of contact with her. They would have been acting differently if this was some rescue from a cult-like leader!
“There is always more to the story. And while the idea that she is a human mannequin to the former husband of Kim Kardashian seems outrageous, it’s good that she must be balancing her time with him and still be able to live a normal life.” the friend added.
Despite this, the source said Censori’s old friends still feel uncomfortable asking about her relationship with West.
According to Page Six, Censori considers her outfits to be “performance art”, with a previous source adding, “people are confusing Bianca’s creativity.”
Censori and West tied the knot on December 20, 2022.
