Collingwood VFL Senior Coach Josh Fraser has named the Magpies’ side that will take on Essendon in Sunday’s Round 14 Smithy’s VFL clash at Windy Hill.
AFL listed players Finlay Macrae, Tew Jiath, Reef McInnes, Ed Allan, and Ned Long come into the side, while YuYu Ashwin returns for the first time since the Round 11 defeat to Coburg. Forward Angus Seivers will make his Collingwood VFL debut, while Jed Longmire has also been selected.
Making way is Wil Parker (Injured), Jonathan Tomasiello, Josh Mathey, Jet Hartman, Connor Wills, Harry Mahoney, Chad Mulvogue, and Harry Flynn.
21-year-old mid-season draftee Ned Long will play his first game since being selected with pick 19 in the 2024 Mid Season Rookie Draft. Long has averaged 24 disposals and nine tackles from his six VFL games this year, including 28 disposals in Rounds Two and Three.
