Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, July 10th 2024

Race 5: Hyland Race Colours BM72 1000m – 3:10pm (AEST)

(2) Villa Treville $6.50/$2.10: 4YO mare who is looking to make it 5 wins in a row here and must be respected off previous form. Continues to climb the ranks and win. Most recently won in BM64 grade carrying 61.5kg and before that did a demolition job on them. Yet to be tested on the heavy, but is proven on the soft, so not overly concerned about the heavy track. Gets in light with a 3kg claim which puts him right in this at an each way price.

(3) Wingardium $3.40: 4YO mare who resumes today and wasn’t that far away last prep. Comes into this with two trial wins and must be respected. Zac Lloyd to ride who is in career best form atm. Goes well.

(5) Hi Dubai $4.60: prior to last run this mare was doing great things in Saturday class to narrowly miss on a couple of occasions. Happy to forgive last starts run and best is good enough here. Wet track the only concern which looked to be a factor in last starts performance. Good enough though.

(2) Villa Treville E/W

$6.50/$2.10 (1 Unit)

Race 6: Pinatubo @ Darley BM64 1600m 3:45pm (AEST)

(9) Mostro $3.40: 3YO gelding who saluted last start to break maiden and appears the further trip assisted. Carried top weight there and held them off for a nice win (Showed will to win). Looks capable of taking on the mile now and will only be fitter third up. Sticky gate a little concern, but with some luck he gets a nice run.

(4) Headley Grange $5.00: 3YO who is never far away and is rock hard fit. Sticky gate, but looks suited now out to 1600m. Goes well.

(6) Galaxy Belle $31/$7.50: The roughie of the field who gets in well at the weights here with a 2kg claim engaged. Likes to get back, but will be motoring home at big odds here. Peaks fourth up and is a sneaky chance.

(9) Mostro

$3.40 (1 Unit)

Race 7: Ole Kirk First Yearlings BM72 1300m 4:20pm (AEST)

(11) Kerguelen $2.10: 3YO gelding who broke maiden by 10L on debut before being nudged out at short odds last start in this grade. Both runs on heavy conditions. Happy to have again and is well supported in the market already. Fitter for the runs and Zac Lloyd to steer. Tick Tick.

(7) Selfless Act $61/$11.60: This 4YO mare appears to be overlooked by the market. Only narrowly beaten last campaign in this grade/trip carrying 57.5kg. Returns today with two trials under her belt which were pretty good. Draws a nice gate and should be able to handle the going fresh. Smokey chance.

(9) The Replicant $23.00/$4.90:5YO gelding who has been real honest of late and is banging on the door to get another win. 3 seconds from 3 attempts over this trip and boasts good form on the heavy track. Collett to steer means we know you’ll get a run for your money. Worth thought at big odds.

(11) Kerguelen

$2.10 (2.5 Units)
