Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have written a heart-warming Father’s Day message to Prince William, shared alongside a newly released picture of the tight-knit family.
The three children expressed their love for their dad as the United Kingdom celebrated the special day on Sunday (local time).
“We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day. G, C & L,” the message said.
It was shared on Kensington Palace’s official social media accounts alongside a previously unseen snap of the family at a beach, believed to be in Norfolk.
Prince William is seen with his arms around Charlotte, Louis and George, who in turn are cuddling each other.
The photo was taken by Princess Catherine at some stage this year.
Royal fans flocked to the comments to wish the senior royal a happy Father’s Day.
“Beautiful. Family is everything,” one person said.
“Really lovely photo, Happy Fathers day William,” another wrote.
“This is the sweetest picture,” one said.
“What a beautiful photo thank you for sharing,” a fourth added.
Prince William also got in on the action, sharing a photo of himself as a toddler playing football with his father King Charles.
“Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W,” the caption said.
It comes just one day after the Wales family joined other royals at this year’s Trooping the Colour in London.
It was the first public appearance for Princess Catherine since she revealed her preventative cancer treatment in March.
She released a public statement a day before the ceremonial parade kicked off, telling the world she was looking forward to attending and provided an update on how her treatment was progressing.
“My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months. On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home,” she wrote.
“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet.”
The family of five were seen smiling and waving to crowds from the balcony in Buckingham Palace who had turned out in droves to mark the occasion despite the rainy weather.
