A touching Father’s Day message for Prince William has been posted to social media by his children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
In a post on social media platform X, the royal children shared an image taken by Catherine, the Princess of Wales.
The photograph was captioned: “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day. G, C & L.”
In the image, William has his arms around the children and they are all standing on a beach facing the sea
Princess Catherine photographed the touching moment this year, according to the post.
Just hours earlier, William posted his own Father’s Day message to King Charles III.
He shared an image of them playing football when he was a boy. It was captioned: “Happy Father’s Day, Pa. W.”
The Father’s Day tributes come after Princess Catherine made her first public appearance in months at the Trooping the Colour parade in London on Saturday.
After the ceremony finished, she appeared on the famous balcony at Buckingham Palace alongside other members of the royal family, as a large crowd cheered below.
She confirmed in a statement late on Friday she would attend Saturday’s festivities, which are also referred to as the King’s Birthday Parade.
Kensington Palace has declined to provide specifics on the princess’s health, but has described her chemotherapy as “preventative”.
In her statement on Friday, Princess Catherine said she was having “good days and bad days” and was “not out of the woods yet”.
“My treatment is ongoing and will be for a few more months,” she said.
“On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”
