Gerard Whateley and Dermott Brereton have named their top four seeds following Round 15 of the 2024 AFL season.
Whateley typically ranks his four teams they have the most confidence in going forward on a weekly basis throughout the year with David King, but with King away this week, Brereton took his place.
At the last update, King had Sydney first, Carlton second, Collingwood third and the Western Bulldogs fourth.
See their seedings below:
BRERETON
1 – Sydney
“Sydney are the best.”
2 – Carlton
“Two is of course Carlton.”
3 – Collingwood
“Three for me is Collingwood.
“They know how (to win), they just know.
“There’s a whole lot of players out there at the moment who don’t know what it is to make it through to the Preliminary Final win and go on the next week, but they know.”
4 – Brisbane
“Four is Brisbane.
“Their ability to score … there’s four teams in the comp who have kicked more than 1300 points, they are one of those four teams.
“They’ve got their game in order. Now, they have been spasmodic. But as Fagan’s proved to us, they’ve been good over the last six weeks, and they are a Grand Final team with Grand Final potential.”
WHATELEY
1 – Carlton
“I’ve gone Carlton as my one seed.
“It just feels more natural for me to have Carlton as my one seed.”
2 – Sydney
3 – Brisbane
4 – Collingwood
