This will be the 23rd time since the turn of the century that the NBA Draft has been held in the New York/New Jersey area:

Who’s the betting favorite to be No. 1 overall pick in NBA Draft?

While there might not be the potential of last year’s No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama in this year’s draft, the odds-on-favorite is fellow Frenchman Zaccharie Risacher, a 19-year-old 6-foot-9 forward who has reportedly worked for the Hawks, who own the top selection right now.

After that it’s a close race between Donovan Clingan, a 7-foot-2 center and key cog of the back-to-back national champion UConn Huskies and Alexandre Sarr, another 19-year-old Frenchman who is 7 feet tall.

Here are the current consensus odds for these three players to be drafted No. 1 overall:

Zaccharie Risacher: -110 (Bet $110 to win $100)

Donovan Clingan: +200 (Bet $100 to win $200)

Alexandre Sarr: +250 (Bet $100 to win $250)
