Which players should have been given coaches votes for their Round 14 performances?
Champion Data’s Daniel Hoyne has named the four players who were perhaps overlooked by the coaches on the weekend.
The below guys ranked high in Champion Data’s ratings yet did not receive any votes.
See the four players below:
Liam Henry (St Kilda)
“That was actually the highest rated game of his career,” Hoyne said on SEN’s Sportsday.
“He was the highest rated player on the ground. I thought he was the main reason as to why St Kilda were actually able to get back into it.
“I know Jack Higgins kicked five goals, but for Henry to do what he did with 13 disposals, nine score involvements and two goals – that was significant.”
Massimo D’Ambrosio (Hawthorn)
“He just continues to rate through the roof.
“He is going along quite nicely. 30th rated player in the competition this year and number one rated Hawk.”
Jack Crisp (Collingwood)
“Could not believe the coaches missed him on the weekend.
“Second highest rated player, only Nick Daicos was rated higher.
“He’s a top-30 player in the competition over the last six weeks. Slow start but is flying now.”
Callum Brown (GWS)
“Strange one this one.
“In a game that was riddled by inaccuracy, his ability to be able to take his chances in front of goal made him the second highest rated player on the ground behind Dan Houston.”
