Why Dead Poets Society star was convinced Robin Williams hated him

He received an Oscar for his role in the 1997 drama Good Will Hunting.

The beloved entertained died by suicide in 2014, with the news shocking the world.

Many obituaries published in the media featured the famous line from Dead Poets Society, “O Captain! My Captain!”

Prior to his death at 63, Williams had been diagnosed with dementia with Lewy bodies, a type of dementia that is characterised by changes in sleep, behaviour, cognition, movement and autonomic bodily function.

The comedian survived by wife Susan Schneider Williams, 60, sons Zak, 41, and Cody, 32, and daughter Zelda, 34.
